Overview
In determining a subdivision or development appeal, the Subdivision and Development Appeal Board must give consideration to:
- the Municipal Government Act (MGA)
- Provincial Land Use policies
- the Land Use Bylaw
- the Municipal Development Plan and other Statutory Plans
- the Subdivision and Development Regulations
Depending upon the nature of the appeal before the Subdivision and Development Appeal Board the weight and level of consideration that must be given to each of the above relevant documents in the Boards decision will be different.
