Council supports students that want to achieve a higher level of education and return to the community to pursue their careers. The Town of High Level in partnership with the Northern Alberta Development Council (NADC) establishes a Bursary Program for graduates from a public or private school or home education that are entering post-secondary institutions
The criteria for applicants are:
- Meet all of the requirements of the NADC Bursary Program;
- Entry into a program at a Canadian institution recognized by NADC;
- Returning to the High Level area after graduation for the minimum period required by NADC; and be a graduating student in the High Level area in the school year of application.
The application deadline will be May 15 of each year.
Council meets annually to discuss applications.
